Ingredients
- Bread Dumplings
- 3 Eggs
- 1 C Heavy Cream
- 2 T Vanilla Extract
- 2 t cinnamon
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 Deli Sliced Ham
- 2 C Shredded Smoked Gruyere
Steps
- Heat butter in a skillet.
- Whisk together eggs, cream, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Dunk dumplings in the mixture and and fry until golden brown turning once while frying.
- Top French Toast slices with ham then as much cheese as is your preference.
- Bake at 375 degrees.
- Smoked cheese does not melt the same way as non smoked cheese, so if you prefer a creamier melt, feel free to choose any other kind of cheese!
