Chef's Favorite Potato Dumplings
Chef's Favorite dumplings are lighter and airier

Directions:

Remove potato dumplings from box and microwave on low defrost for 6 minutes to activate yeast.

Place dumplings onto flowered surface (to prevent sticking) and let rise for 30 minutes.

Bring 1 1/2 to 2 quarts of water and one level teaspoon of salt to boil in a 3-quart saucepan.

Place dumplings gently into boiling water and stir slowly for 1-2 minutes.

When water returns to boil, cover and boil gently for 17 minutes.

Remove dumplings with slotted spoon, slice each dumpling into halves or leave whole and serve with gravy or melted butter.
